I just read this article in The New Yorker (I mean I read only half of it, obviously, who reads an entire New Yorker article?) on Martin Scorsese's fabulous memory of cinema and life experience. It says Scorsese was really impressed by Wes Anderson's Rushmore, and after seeing it, he wrote him a letter. Being two of my favorite directors, I never though of a parallel between their work and now I see why I adore them both. They have this incredible way to tell a story and both mastered the art of the soundtrack. And then I thought. Imagine. Martin Scorsese writes you a letter. “Hey! Nice little drawings!” Made my morning. (If you wanna read the -full- article: http://ift.tt/1wpf7BO) par helenepe
